Meet the “Trueblue Twins”: The Duo Taking Social Media by Storm

Although twins are relatively common, the fascination with how two individuals can look so remarkably identical never seems to fade. I certainly share that fascination.

However, twins Megan and Morgan Boyd didn’t just turn heads because of their identical features. At the tender age of four, their crystal-clear, ocean-blue eyes captivated the internet. Once their pictures were caught on camera and shared online, the images spread like wildfire.

Affectionately dubbed the “Trueblue Twins” by their mother, Stephanie, the girls became viral sensations. While most parents love showing off photos of their little ones, Megan and Morgan’s striking looks captured a global audience, eventually earning them over 153,000 followers on Instagram.

And looking at them, it’s incredibly easy to see why.

 

Born on June 6, 2011, the girls were given their famous nickname by Stephanie, who wanted to highlight their extraordinary blue eyes.

If you ever struggle to tell the girls apart, their eyes hold the secret. Megan has two piercing blue eyes, while Morgan possesses a beautifully unique look—her left eye is blue, but her right eye is dark brown.

 

Like many twins, the girls are frequently dressed in adorable, matching outfits. Stephanie takes great pride in shopping for her daughters, ensuring their wardrobes are always stylish and up to date. For her, it’s deeply important that her twin daughters both look and feel their absolute best.

 

Their rare eye color continues to leave followers amazed and fascinated. Many people incorrectly assume that African-American adults with blue eyes must be wearing colored contact lenses. In reality, they can be born with a rare, naturally occurring genetic trait that colors their eyes blue. Stephanie herself was born with natural blue eyes and confirms she doesn’t wear contacts either.

 

Despite her daughters becoming bona fide social media celebrities, Stephanie remains incredibly grounded. While she acknowledges that Megan and Morgan’s natural beauty could easily pave the way for professional modeling careers, she refuses to pressure them into anything they might not want to do. It is a wonderfully wise and protective approach to parenting!
